  1. Well..  I'm not sure if all of you will be happy with this announcement,
  2. but it can't be helped.
  3.  
  4. The idea of bugfixing/developing Amos has been dropped.
  5.  
  6. We have been unable to gather source-code, reverse-engineering is not
  7. only difficult but is also illegal and the current structure of AMOS
  8. makes if EXTREMELY hard to build upon - François was a very lazy
  9. programmer.
  10.  
  11. We have however decided to begin work on our own language, featuring
  12. most of the facilities that are provided by AMOS, but hopefully much
  13. better and bugfree (well, eventually).

  19. The name AMOS DEVELOPMENT TEAM isn't really applicable now, but we are
  20. yet to decide on anything better..

  24. the whole situation.
